Gabe Abrams
Senior Software Engineer
Gabe Abrams is a Senior Software Engineer in the Division of Continuing Education.  Gabe spends half  his time with the DCE Teaching & Learning Team identifying common struggles that affect courses, then spends the other half of his time with the DCE Development Team building tools to address those challenges.  From administrative tools like SwipeIn attendance  or an LTI App Store, to impact-driven tools for fair grading or helping students build peer networks, Gabe is thrilled to be working on so many fun projects, surrounded by so many brilliant, passionate, people.

Zahra Ahmed
Faculty Development Specialist

As a thought partner, facilitator, and coach, Zahra leads and designs faculty trainings on pedagogy and practices for online and in-person teaching, including for the Inclusive Teaching Institute, a learning community open to a faculty and teaching staff University-wide. She also develops website resources on teaching strategies.

Joanna Do
Instructional Technologist, Canvas Course Designer
Joaanna works directly with instructors and faculty to design and implement online learning environments, using the entire range of Canvas tools:  from rubrics and grading schemes to embedding media and communicating with course members inside of Canvas.

Senior Associate Dean of Faculty and Academic Affairs 
I joined DCE in July, 2021 and am heading up our new Office of Faculty Engagement and Academic Affairs. We are excited about new opportunities to improve academic operations and strengthen relations with and among our instructors. pronouns she/her/hers

Jonathan Paulo is an Online Learning and Reference Librarian at Harvard Library, in the Services for Academic Programs department.  Jonathan Paulo and Mary Frances Angelini are two of the librarians who work with Harvard Extension School.

Jamie Spear is a Digital Accessibility Consultant with HUIT's Digital Accessibility Services. She has worked at Harvard for 14 years focused on accessibility in Harvard's physical and digital spaces.
