Graeme Bird
Graeme has been teaching math courses for Harvard Extension and Summer School since 1986. He also teaches Linguistics and Classics courses at Gordon College, and is an enthusiastic jazz pianist. At HES he particularly enjoys helping students gain confidence in their ability to do math, and to see its usefulness in everyday life.

Ethan Contini-Field
Course Designer
I am a Course Designer for the Division of Continuing Education. For the past six years, I've been helping instructors at Harvard Extension and Summer Schools design courses and activities. I have two decades' experience teaching and designing adult and continuing education in a variety of settings.

Instructional Technologist
I work with instructors and faculty to set up Canvas course sites, exams, and tools in a way that enables students to get the most out of their learning.

Joanna Do
Instructional Technologist, Canvas Course Designer 

I work directly with instructors and faculty to design and implement on-line learning environments, using the entire range of Canvas tools: from rubrics and grading schemes to embedding media and communicating with course members inside of Canvas.

Kerry Foley
Manager of Course Design
I manage the Course Design team and we support faculty in designing innovative and useful learning experiences for their Extension School and Summer School students.  If you have an idea for your course but you're unsure where to start, reach out to my team for help.

Susan Goldstein
Online Education Web Conference Consultant
I guide faculty through the process of teaching their first web conference course and support those who have some experience but want more help.

David Heitmeyer
David has taught at the Extension School since 1997. He has taught his courses in a variety of formats, from fully "on campus" to "online only" to "online (live and on-demand)." His primary course, CSCI E-12 "Fundamentals of Website Development," is an introductory course and tends to have high enrollments. Davis works as a staff member for Academic Technology in Harvard University IT.

Sarah Ledoux
Manager of Instructional Technologies
I lead a team of instructional technologists working with faculty using a broad range of tools to enhance the learning experience. I serve as a liaison between DCE and the rest of the Harvard community as new tools and strategies evolve and are tested, helping to ensure that the tools are developemed and deployed in a way that best suits course content and meets the needs of both DCE instructors and students.

Karina Lin-Murphy

I work with faculty to reimagine different aspects of their courses in order to deepen engagement and enrich student experience across a range of formats. My role gives me the unique opportunity to unite my background in cognitive science and education with my passion for creative design, technology and innovation.

Rob Munger
Rob has taught microeconomics, health economics, game theory, and financial markets at Boston University and is now a TA at the extension school and summer schools. He is passionate about helping students from a variety of backgrounds gain a deeper understanding of economics and finance.
